Hong Kong - Feeling left out of the social networking phenomena, Google has launched a preview of its Google Friend Connect, a service that allows websites not yet linked to social networks to interact with with sites like Facebook and MySpace.
The tool has been created to drive traffic to website owners not yet plugged into social networking sites. Developers can share applications and features, post songs and videos to every leading social network from one dashboard.
The review release will collect feedback about the tool and from there will work to improve social capabilities and features.
Google said that the more social network applications will increase investment in the platform drive development and leverage social ties.
"There are a number of great social networking sites out there that let you stay connected, but the rest of the web typically hasn't been social. Yet," Mussie Shore, product manager at Google , said.
