OpenRice.com expands ad platform
Hong Kong - Online restaurant guide OpenRice.com has expanded its online advertising opportunities to include video, co-branding and sponsorship, after hiring Pixel Media as its exclusive online advertising representative.
Pixel Media's appointment is part of a number of upgrades to the OpenRice.com site. The company has added an advanced restaurant search engine using Google Maps, a personalised bookmark restaurant function and a My OpenRice guide which allows members to post photos and restaurant reviews.
As part of Pixel's appointment, OpenRice.com will use Pixel Media's ad serving tools to better connect advertisers with the sites users.
OpenRice.com said advertisers will have access to an audience of more than 750,000.
Winky Chan, managing director of Pixel Media Hong Kong, said advertisers will have access to the quality advertising inventory and an audience with high income and consumption power.
Since Pixel's appointment Pizza Hut, Hang Seng Bank and Wing Hang Bank have already confirmed advertising campaigns on OpenRice.com.
"We are pleased to partner with Pixel Media, the proven market leader and experts in online advertising," said Jan Wong, assistant general manager of OpenRice.com.
Pixel Media counts MSN, Atnext.com, 881903.com, Cityline.com, Xanga.com as major clients.
