Singapore - Singapore swiped three Pencils at the recent 2008 One Show Design awards, with Leo Burnett grabbing a Gold and Bronze, and Kinetic with a Silver.
Leo Burnett Singapore scored top accolade in the ‘Logo/trademark Design - Single' category with work for Oliver, Patrick & Glenn in ‘Grocers Corporate Identity', and went home with a Bronze Pencil for the same work in the ‘Corporate Identity - Campaign' category.
Kinetic Singapore also won a Silver Pencil for ‘Affixen' in the ‘Corporate Identity - Campaign' category.
Leo Burnett won the most number of awards in Asia, garnering a total of four Pencils for the network. It bagged a Gold Pencil for its Mumbai office for ‘Luxor Higlighters' in the ‘Collateral: Posters - Campaign' category, and a Bronze for its Kuala Lumpur office for ‘The Endangered Collection' for the Malaysian Nature Society in the ‘Public Service/Non-Profit: Collateral - Single' category.
Japan swiped the most number of Pencils at this year's One Show Design, with four Bronzes and one Silver Pencil, taking five out of 18 Pencils won across the Asia Pacific.
