Malaysia - Euro RSCG Malaysia picked up three Gold medals at the 2008 Golden Award of Montreux International Advertising Festival for its work for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees).

Euro RSCG Worldwide was the most awarded agency network at the 2008 Montreux awards, taking home 14 gold medals in total.

The '50 Note', '100 Note' and '500 Note' UNHCR campaign aims to raise awareness of the refugee relief efforts, and to show how donations can make a difference in the lives of refugees. Each execution shows a different monetary amount and what specific benefit a donation of that amount can provide, such as helping to locate relatives, providing shelter, or digging wells. Each of the notes drives traffic to UNHCR's website where donations can be made.

"The idea was to bring people closer to the cause," Case Deenadayalan, ECD, Euro RSCG Malaysia, said. "We wanted people to feel more connected to their donations and visually the campaign succeeds in showing how any donation can contribute to real effect."

"Over the past three years Euro RSCG has invested heavily in upgrading our creative output by hiring the best creative talent across the region," George Gallate, CEO, Euro RSCG Asia Pacific, said.
