Hong Kong - Limelight Media has pulled the plug on its monthly Juice magazine, ending a licensing deal with the Malaysian-based Catcha Media Group.

Limelight today confirmed that May would be its last issue, but Juice publisher Scott Davies did not return calls at press time. The company picked up the license to publish Juice in 2006.

Patrick Grove, Catcha CEO, told Marketing he was keen to see the licence continue.

"Catcha is keen to license Juice in Hong Kong if an opportunity presents itself," Grove said.

The news comes more than a month after Catcha sold the license to publish Juice in Singapore to the newly formed publishing company Juice Media.

The business and assets associated with the magazine were sold for RM1.43 million (HK$3.5 million), with an ongoing royalty to be paid to Catcha Media Group for the use of the license.
