Fulford nets regional golf apparel retainer

Fulford has clinched the regional retainer account for adidas' golfing apparel and footwear range TaylorMade-adidas Golf following a competitive pitch against several agencies.

"As we handle many golfing events, we see this as a natural fit for the agency - we are passionate about sports and it's what the agency was founded upon," Linda Fulford, managing director at Fulford Public Relations said.

Fulford will handle all PR-related matters in Singapore and oversee the execution of the public relations campaigns in key markets across SE Asia."

The agency will be targeting members of the press, consumers as well as trade partners for its publicity efforts, details of which are currently still being formulated with TaylorMade-adidas management.

"The TaylorMade-adidas Golf account adds to our stellar list of clients which includes golf accounts such as the ladies Lexus Cup, Blue Canyon Country Club, IMG, World Sport Group and OAAG (a global golfing company), and other high profile accounts such as the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006 and ESPN," said Fulford.
