Singapore - MD for Carat Singapore, Sony Wong will leave the company in May after two and a half years - no replacement has been found yet, although Carat expects to name a successor end of May.

"After helping Carat to turn around the business and achieve the goals I was tasked to do, I feel that it is time to pass on my baton to the next person while I look for other new challenges. I am going to take a long over-due break to recharge and then rechart my path forward," Wong said.

Wong currently takes care of Singapore operations including Carat, Carat Interactive and Vizeum as well as managing local and regional clients. He reports directly CEO for Carat Asia South, Richard Halmarick.

Previously, Wong was at Asia Pacific Breweries where he handled the Heineken and Guinness portfolios.
