Global - The International Herald Tribune (IHT) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Investment Corporation of Dubai to enable the Khaleej Times to print the IHT in Dubai.
The newspaper will be available for early morning distribution to news outlets, subscribers and hotels throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Achilles Tsaltas, IHT's vice president of circulation and development, said, "The IHT has been present in this market for the past seven years but with the excellent printing, distribution and marketing network of the Khaleej Times we now have a great opportunity to reach many more globally-engaged readers in this most vibrant part of the world."
The
IHT is already printed in Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, India and Israel, as well as many European and Asian countries. Worldwide, Dubai is the
IHT's 35th print center supporting a newspaper readership of more than 510,000 in 180 countries.
