Singapore - Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) has added Mileage Communications in Singapore, an agency in India and another in The Netherlands to its group of agencies.
Mileage is headed by MD Yap Boh Tiong and has eight regional offices in India, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The agency services blue-chip clients in the healthcare, financial, technology, consumer & lifestyle, shipping and sports sectors and is also a regional player in crisis management.
Yap said the agency was recommended by an existing member in the PGRN network, and the board was impressed with the agency's pitch and past track record, including its strong background in crisis management.
Currently, Mileage Communications is the only Singaporean agency listed in PRGN's network.
Evident PR from Amsterdam and Aspire Communications from India are the other new additions to the network.
In other PRGN news, Frank Cullen, chief executive of Dublin-based PR firm Cullen Communications, has been named president of the network. He takes over from Scott Hanson of Phoenix, Arizona-based HMA Public Relations.
