Global - Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced the Open Screen Project, which unifies software requirements and enables marketers to deliver content to consumers through an integrated digital platform.

Industry leaders currently supporting the project include Marvell, Motorola, Nokia, Cisco and Toshiba and Verizon Wireless. Supporting content providers include BBC, MTV Networks and NBC Universal.

Adobe through the Open Screen Project hopes to remove barriers for developers and designers as they publish content and applications across desktops and devices. Open access to its technology will enable faster deployment of content and rich Internet applications.

"With support from industry leaders who share a common vision to provide rich, interactive experiences across computers, devices and consumer electronics, a consistent, more open platform for developers will drive rapid innovation - vastly improving the user experience, " Shantanu Narayen, CEO at Adobe, said.
