Singapore - MediaCorp Channel 5 will unveil its latest branding campaign on 8 May 2008, anchored by the tagline ‘Come Home to 5'.
The campaign seeks to emphasise the importance of home-grown talent and English language content that is relevant to Singaporeans.
Gurmit Singh, Adrian Pang and Michelle Chia are among the personalities that will appear in a new TV campaign to communicate the message. Also, a jingle performed by Asian Idol Hady Mirza, has been created to give the new Channel 5 a distinctive sound.
Local shows that will be hitting the screens in May include The Showdown, a 13-part reality series where celebrities pit against each other in series of challenges, Sayang Sayang, a Peranakan comedy series, and the return of The Yang Sisters starring Chen Pei Pei.
