Singapore gets 41 shortlisted at Clios
Singapore - Singapore scores 41 shortlisted entries at this year's Clio Awards, with Saatchi & Saatchi scoring top rank with 21 entries, and Ogilvy with 10.
The bulk of Saatchi & Saatchi's shortlisted entries come from the public service campaign ‘Aware Verbal Abuse' for Domestic Violence Awareness, with seven entries. Its other entries include work for Wonderbra, the Thai SPCA, and the Singapore Navy.
Ogilvy fares well with 10 entries, receiving six for work done for FHM, and three entries for ‘Helicopter View' for The Economist.
Other shortlisted agencies include Leo Burnett with four entries, Young & Rubicam (Y&R) with three, and JWT, Kinetic, and TBWA with one each.
Every year, Clio receives more than 20,000 entries from 65 countries, from which less than 10% reach the Shortlist. The jury, made up of 115 creative leaders from 25 countries will re-evaluate the work to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze Clio winners.
