Tuesday: Senior Materials Planner

Role Description:
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Senior Materials Planner will provide a leadership role for the purchase of all aircraft spare parts used for the repair and overhaul of units serviced.

You will also liaise with vendors or OEMs to follow up on delivery status and expedite if necessary. You will need to maintain the stock levels to the budgeted level to support shopfloor workload and generate reports to keep track and inform affected departments of material shortage. Slow moving and redundant stock should be identified to ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal levels at all times.

Requirements:
You need to have at least five years' experience preferably in the aviation industry with a strong knowledge in material planning and inventory system management.
