Senior appointments at SMG Genesis

Australia - Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has appointed Yvette Mayer as director and promoted Maree Galanos to strategy planning director of communications strategy and ROI consultancy Genesis Sydney.

Mayer has been digital director at AMG Sydney for the past year and a half and before that she headed the client business management team.

"Yvette's promotion ensures that our digital capability and consciousness permeates the whole agency so that we continue to integrate digital into our mainstream operations," said Kenny Stewart, managing director at SMG Sydney.

He added, "Yvette's focus will be brilliant strategic thinking that delivers real ROI, and you can't provide that in today's environment without an excellent understanding of the digital landscape."

Galanos steps up to the role of strategy planning director from her most recent role of senior strategic planner.
