Joint ECDs for BBDO GO

Philippines - BBDO Guerrero Ortega (BBDO GO) has promoted Joel Limchoc and Simon Welsh to joint executive creative directors, with effect from 2 May 2008.

Limchoc has been creative director and head of art for BBDO GO for the past four and a half years. Prior to joining the agency, he spent seven years at JWT Manila where he worked on Unilever and Ford.

For the past two and a half years, Welsh has been creative director and head of copy for BBDO GO. He worked for clients including Channel 4, Tango, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Childhope Asia. Prior to that, Welsh worked at a number of agencies including HHCL United, McCann Erickson and Rapier.

Limchoc and Welsh will continue to report to BBDO GO chairman and chief creative officer David Guerrero. Guerrero is now taking on an expanded role that covers Proximity Philippines and a number of regional responsibilities.
