New business radio channel for Malaysia

Malaysia - A new English language business radio channel, BFM 89.9 FM, will be launched in July this year.

"It will cover topics like The Edge, and would be more main street than CNBC," Malek Ali, ED and founder of the radio station BFM 89.9 FM, said.

Target listeners are business executives, professionals, retail stock market investors and personal finance consumers.

The channel is expected to be launched first in Klang Valley, and later in other states in peninsular Malaysia.
