iProperty.com hires from interactive agencies
Malaysia - Online property portal network iProperty.com group has hired Sherry Wong from Digitas Greater China as GM of its Hong Kong operations; and Shen Loh-Lim, from XM Malaysia, as group head of product.
Wong will be responsible for iProperty.com's Hong Kong business which includes GoHome.com.hk and House18.com. She was formerly SVP/GM at Digitas responsible for operations, finance and marketing communications.
Lim will be in charge of strategising, planning and rolling out products and services across the Asian region. His key responsibilities include enhancing user experiences and improving the efficiency of online property searches through the development of innovative products, as well as providing effective marketing platforms for property developers and agents. Lim was previously project director at XM Malaysia. During his five-year tenure there, he worked on accounts such as Toyota, Citibank, Sony and GlaxoSmithKline.
Patrick Grove, executive chairman of iProperty.com group, said, "The group is going through exciting times. Within the past year, we have listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, formed alliances with the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents, bought over Hong Kong's No. 1 property network www.GoHome.com.hk and recently acquired Keagen, the owner and organiser of exhibitions in Asia," he added.
Both Wong and Lim report directly to the CEO of the iProperty.com group, Ken Tsurumaru.
