AdMax goes Mochi for online gaming

Singapore - The AdMax Network, an advertising network for specialty content websites, has inked an exclusive partnership with MochiAds - which is part of Mochi Media - and is an ad network for casual games.

The MochiAds network of over 2,000 games will now be available through AdMAx and it provides around-game advertisements which are delivered within the game window while the user starts the game or waits between levels. As the games are played, 10-second ads are shown which can be served and targeted according to certain criteria.

"This partnership strengthens the MochiAds network's ability to monetise and serve targeted advertisements to the international gamers that represent a substantial percentage of our traffic. Now, advertisers in SE Asia can connect more easily with their target consumer. It's amazing to see the wide audience games attract, and the performance of advertisements on the network has been phenomenal," Justin Wong, VP of business development for Mochi Media, said.

IDC's ASEAN Online Gaming 2006-2010 Forecast and Analysis report predicted online gaming to have a compound annual growth rate of 21% from 2006 to 2010.
