Singapore - BBC Global Channels APAC has launched a media campaign to celebrate the premiere of the latest season of Top Gear on BBC Knowledge for SingTel's mioTV platform.
The campaign, which spans print, radio, broadcast, outdoor and mobile, marks the first time BBC Global Channels has launched a mobile campaign for its international viewers.
The mobile campaign launched 3 April with live streaming clips and used SingTel's Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) to provide subscribers with access to six two-minute excerpts from the latest season of Top Gear ahead of the telecast dates. The mobile campaign ends on 1 June.
BBC Global Channels Asia Pacific has also worked with Class 95FM on a radio campaign with morning drive time deejays, FD and Glenn Ong. Twice every morning for a week the deejays will talk about Top Gear and other programmes on BBC Knowledge.
