Singapore - Homegrown communications network TNBT has joined London-based The Law Firm's global independent global network, which allows the two to expand their footprint worldwide and in Southeast Asia respectively.

Currently, The Law Firm Group only has affiliate offices in Tokyo, Taipei and Manila and partnering with TNBT will give it instant presence in markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia. On the other hand, for TNBT, the tie-up means it will be able to take on any local client who wants to expand globally.

"We believe that we can only be as good as we can be if we have the right partners to work with. And any time you have the chance to partner up with one of the most respected creative minds in the advertising and communications world, you grab that opportunity," Palani Pillai, CEO, TNBT S.E.A.

"With more than 20 offices in six continents, The Law Firm Group provides TNBT access to some of the most creative minds in the world," he said.

"There is no doubt in my mind that in the global economy today, one region stands out among the rest - Asia. Indeed, it would seem that all the action is happening in this part of the world. And why not? Asia boasts of very diverse and dynamic cultures. So it is only natural that creativity will flourish here. We see Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, as a vital hub in the expansion of The Law Firm Group," Andy Law, chairman and founder of The Law Firm, said.

The Law Firm was also started by Brian Watson and Dave Stewart, the other half of the Eurythmics duo. Special advisors to the group also include Bollywood and Hollywood director Shekhar Kapur and co-founder of the Body Shop Gordin Roddick.
