Redgate expands TV ad sales

Shanghai - Redgate Media has acquired two TV advertising sales companies, Yarun Culture Communication and Shanghai Dianguang Media Broadcasting Company, to expand its cross-media sales platform in China.
Both TV companies have interesting assets and strong business share ads clients that will help Redgate increase exposure, according to Redgate spokesman Robby Yung.
He added the acquisition will strengthen Redgate's position in TV ads business through content production in TV, radio, outdoor, publishing and online media.
With Yarun's specialty in sports TV, Redgate will have opportunity to be more involved in the Beijing Olympics.
"These very successful television advertising sales organisations will complement our existing business, allowing us to offer a truly full-service, cross-media platform to clients," Peter Brack, chairman and CEO of Redgate, said.
