Singapore - Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (APBS) has appointed The Alchemy Partnership as creative agency for its ABC Extra Stout brand in Singapore.
Alchemy will take over creative duties from incumbent agency BBDO, after a pitch which started in December last year involving Alchemy and Crush Advertising.
John Galvin, marketing manager for ABC Extra Stout, APBS, said, "It was a close call and both agencies impressed us with their creative proposals. However, in the end, in terms of capturing the brand essence, Alchemy had the sharper edge."
