Singapore - Huntsworth-owned consultancies, Grayling and The Global Consulting Group (GCG), have merged to form Grayling Global, resulting in internal changes to its management team in Asia and Europe.
Grayling Asia MD James Acheson-Gray now becomes MD of the UK public relations business. He was Grayling Asia MD since 1999 and Chris Davies, deputy chief executive of Grayling UK PR, will move to Singapore to take over.
Grayling Global will be led by Nigel Kennedy, currently group CEO of Grayling, and will have a major presence in Asia, Europe, and the US with revenues of £17 million (S$45 million) and a network of more than 200 staff in 17 offices. Lord Chadlington, the chief executive of Huntsworth, will chair the board of Grayling Global.
"It is a very neat fit. GCG has a very strong presence in the USA, while Grayling is a major player in Europe and Asia. Grayling Global will have bases in key markets around the world and the capability to reach a worldwide audience," Kennedy said in a statement.
