Oasis falls into liquidation

Hong Kong - David Communications and Ogilvy PR are expected to be part of the casualty trail with the announcement that long-haul budget airline group Oasis Airlines has gone into liquidation.

Oasis Airlines has appointed KPMG to assess the companies' financial and operating situations. The immediate consequence of its appointment is that all of Oasis's scheduled flights have been cancelled.

Oasis appointed Ogilvy Group-owned David Communications to its advertising business in September last year. Ogilvy PR manages corporate communication for the airline group.
