Women catching up on digital gadget ownership

Hong Kong - It's no surprise local women love their luxury items but increasingly females between 20 to 29 are most likely to own a digital device, according to Synovate Media Atlas.
The study revealed women surpassed men in owning digital gadgets such as digital still cameras at 64% and MP3 players at 42%, with equal ownership in digital video camera and trailing closely behind men in desktop, laptop and portable electronic game ownership.
The report also revealed that advertising works with 58% women say ads are a good way to learn about products and services as opposed to men at 52%.
21% of women surveyed said they would buy products due to good advertising compared to 18% in men.
