JDBC expands to Indonesia

Singapore - Singapore-headquartered Jorg Dietzel Brand Consultants (JDBC), has just opened its first overseas rep office in Jakarta, headed by newly appointed country manager Ary Sudiarto.

"The time was right for us to move into Indonesia," group CEO and founder Jorg Dietzel said. "There is only so much you can do from Singapore. For the bigger projects we have started working on, you need a local team on the ground: people that speak the language, understand the customs and have the relationships. Indonesia is waking up to the need for branding, and there are many opportunities for us to help them improve differentiation and consistency."

Before joining JDBC, Sudiarto worked in marketing for over seven years, consulting for major Indonesian brands.

JDBC currently counts brands such as Audi, SCA Hygiene and OPRC as its clients.
