LB Indonesia appoints new ECD

Indonesia - Leo Burnett Kreasindo Indonesia has appointed Brian Capel as executive creative director to replace Peter Gausis, who is returning to the UK after two years with the agency.

Steve Bonnell, managing director of Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide, Indonesia, said, "As an agency who believes in always working with the best people, I'm confident that Brian is the ideal fit for the winning model we're creating in Indonesia. I'm very excited about our prospects this year."

With 17 years of agency experience, Capel has handled a broad range of accounts from different industries including FMCG, banking, airlines, services and telecommunications.

He was most recently CD of Ogilvy & Mather Kuala Lumpur where he led a 20-member creative team to work on major accounts such as Maxis Mobile Telecommunications, CIMB Investment and Commercial Banking, Nestle Maggi, Heineken, Pizza Hut and YTL Luxury Properties and Resorts.

Prior to Ogilvy & Mather Kuala Lumpur, Capel was creative group head and senior art director of Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur.
