In a nutshell
"I invented mind-maps and none of them did," says Tony Buzan, or better known as the founder of mindmaps. “My training is unique from others because they are engaging. My programmes are constantly revolving around the time you spend on your brain and the resources you get out of your brain.”

A graduate from University of British Columbia, Buzan majored in English, psychology, arts and science. He finally left university in 1966 to travel around, doing odd jobs along the way.

Some of his jobs include working as a university lecturer, a journalist and a special needs teacher. In 1974, Buzan completed his first big book Use your head for the BBC and it was adapted into a 10-part television series. After the series and the book came out, he was invited all over the world to give lectures on it. He has since authored several books on subjects relating to the brain.

Buzan consults on leadership, change management, communication, knowledge management, creativity and innovation. Some of the companies he worked with include Microsoft, IBM, HSBC, BBC, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, American Management Association and various governments.
