Top managers in India are earning almost $30,000 lesser than their BRIC counterparts, despite the trend of increasing CEO salaries.

According to Hay Group’s latest World Pay Report, Russian managers have a disposable income of $157,348, highest among its BRIC peers. Next was China, with $126,281.

India lags behind, with its top managers earning only $92,750.

According to Times of India, It is believed that India’s large base of skilled talent makes management pay immune to the global market, even though the country’s economy is developing rapidly. World Pay Report commented that India benefits from a large tier of well educated, English-speaking local talent, making management pay more immune to the international market.
