Singapore - MobileOne (M1) and Hup Seng, sole agent for Mentos, have bagged the top accolades for the local and international categories respectively in the MediaCorp Viewers' Choice 2007 survey.
20 TVCs were shortlisted for the voting and the top three were selected for both categories.
M1 scored with its 'Free IDD Calls ‘Indian Restaurant' TVC, while Hup Seng won with its 'Mentos: Classroom' TVC.
Both companies won $50,000 worth of airtime to be used on Channels 8, 5, U, Suria, Central or Channel NewsAsia.
In the local category, Out of the Box came close as first runner-up with 'Anthing/Whatever: Sundry Shop', followed by StarHub with 'StarHub: Multiplicity'. Visa International bagged both 2nd and 3rd place in the international category for the 'Olympics' and 'Takeaway' commercials.
