Singapore - StarHub will offer STAR Cricket and Cricket Extra from 17 March - the former is a 24-hour channel dedicated to global cricket action replacing its existing Cricket Channel and the latter will air simulcast cricket matches.

STAR Cricket first launched in India in June last year, and has achieved record ratings during the broadcast of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20. It airs ‘live' and delayed international and regional cricket events, cricket news, archive programming, and magazine and reality shows. The Australian Pura Cup Final will be aired ‘live' alongside magazine programmes.

Cricket Extra caters to the simulcast of ‘live' cricket events allowing viewers to choose which ‘live' event to watch. It serves also as a platform to air selected cricket tournaments not made available on STAR Cricket or Neo Sports.

ESPN STAR Sports holds the global broadcast and production rights for all the ICC events till 2015, the exclusive rights for events by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Cricket Australia (CA) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
