Singapore - Ozone Barter Business Exchange Singapore has appointed Kaiiten Communications as its PR AOR for 2008 - this makes the agency the first PR firm locally to accept partial payment via barter in return via services and also gives it access to Ozone's 500 members that are mainly SMEs.
"Through barter trade, Kaiiten Communications is now able to offer flexible payments schemes of full or partial payment via barter to reach out to SME business of all sizes. This move will definitely help us attract SME clients who would normally not consider engaging a PR agency to our services and will better position us once barter trading becomes mainstream," Elaina Olivia Chong, MD of Kaiiten Communications, said.
After a pitch that involved ten agencies, the PR agency also won the account for Anthony Furnisshen, a boutique furniture company (formerly known as Anthony Cushions) that recently ran a rebranding campaign which saw it collaborating with guest designers to build customised pieces that seem more art than furniture.
Kaiiten did PR for the client which recently designed a Ferrari F430-inspired piece named, ‘Flamboient' which was auctioned off at a closed door Ferrari Club event to a car owner which had the same vehicle make.
