Samsung calls in Rain for Olympics
Published: Mar 13, 2008
Hong Kong - Despite the recent risks surrounding celebrity endorsement, Samsung has named Korean pop star Rain as the company's Olympic ambassador.
A Samsung spokesman said the company's cooperation with Rain was a "perfect blend of the Olympic spirit".
Samsung has also launched promotion with Adidas, another Olympic partner, in highlighting the Olympic events in both China and Hong Kong through printed ads, out-of-home and billboard.
In addition to Olympics, Rain will also front the campaign for its Samsung Anycall L258.
