Philippines - Leo Burnett Manila's second regional network, Blackpencil, won best TV Ad of the Year at the latest Creative Guild of the Philippines, organised by the Philipines 4As.
'Snapshot', was the winning piece was from Blackpencil's Cinemalaya campaign, which also won Best of Show at the Philippines Advertising Congress awards with 'Playtime'.
"TV is clearly one of the group's key strengths with four of the seven wins coming from this category, but more importantly, the majority of the awarded work comes from some of the agency's biggest clients," chairman and chief creative officer of the Leo Group, Richard Irvine, said.
In addition to Print Ad of the Year in 2005 and Radio Campaign of the Year in 2005 and 2006, this marks a record breaking fourth time in eight years that Leo Burnett has won the prestigious TV Ad of the Year at this show.
