Grubbs exits eBay joins Turner

Hong Kong - Benjamin Grubbs, eBay marketing director, is leaving his role after two years in the top job to join Turner Entertainment as its regional director of interactive media.

Grubbs joined eBay as marketing manager for SouthEast Asia and Hong Kong in 2004 based in Singapore.

He was promoted to marketing director for eBay Hong Kong in 2006 and was responsible for overseeing the development of internet marketing, communication programs, brand development, customer acquisition and relationship marketing.

Prior to eBay, he spent four years working at Yahoo! Singapore where he was manager for the company's strategic alliances department.

In the newly-created position, Grubbs will be responsible for extending the presence of Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, POGO, Boomerang and HBO India, as well as interactive entertainment content across multiple platforms.

Grubbs will continue to be based in Hong Kong.
