Singapore - ShareInvestor, an internet media and technology company, has relaunched its flagship title, Invest. Previously in closed circulation the mag will now be sold at news stand.

"The previous incarnation of Invest was focused mainly on the trading of stocks and shares and thus our readers consisted mostly of retail investors. Design-wise, its logo has been tweaked for a cleaner look to ensure visibility. Previously targeted at a niche market, retail investors, the addition of the new sections will broaden the readership profile to one that is more on general investment rather than one where the readers need a background in stock trading," Invest editor Lee Wei Tze said.

"We've beefed up the magazine's content in terms of personal finance management content in the strategic investments section as well as a dedicated lifestyle section. The equities and trading content which the magazine started out with in 2006 has been renamed as ‘Tactical Investments'. There is also a new features section which will profile investing from the different perspectives be it in alternative investments, or fund managers."

To prepare the revamped magazine for newsstands, its marketing team did a survey on the ad prices of business and finance magazines currently on news stands. From there rates were adjusted to meet current industry standards.

Its main target advertisers will still be financial institutions and brokerage houses but with its revamped and enhanced content, it hopes to reach out to insurance companies, financial services companies, fund and asset management companies and also high-end consumer product retailers.

"Our advertisers have the option of placing their ads across our financial portals, ShareInvestor.com as well as our two print publications, Invest magazine and SI Guide, which are now both available at newsstands, hence we can now offer a wider reach. There will also be opportunities for sponsorship tie-ins including bulk subscriptions by brokerage houses and financial institutions, advertorials and cross-media ads," ShareInvestor's business development director Linda Lee said
