OMD appoints APAC chief

Hong Kong - Omnicom Media Group has promoted Maggie Choi, MD for OMD Greater China in a newly created position as regional MD for OMD Asia Pacific.

In her expanded role, Choi will be tasked to further build and strengthen the OMD brand across the Asia Pacific region.

She will continue to be based in Hong Kong and reports directly to Barry Cupples, CEO for Asia Pacific, Omnicom Media Group.

"It's an exciting time in Asia for media agencies, the evolving client needs, the ast changing market dynamics and the continue proliferation and segmentation of media platforms all are huge opportunities as well as challenges", Choi said in a statement.

Choi has ten years of experience running OMD in Greater China.
