OgilvyOne Nokia leads to depart
Robbins, who worked primarily on the Nseries range of phones, has been with the agency for over four years and his last day would be on 29 February. He will be heading to Arc Worldwide in early March.
Tan said he is likely to ease out of his present role as there is still work to be done. He would not reveal in detail on where he would be heading as the "ink is not dry" but it is likely he will stay in a marketing role, probably with a financial institution, but on the client-side.Tan cites his desire to spend more time with his young family as the main reason for his departure.
"My departure has nothing to do with the agency if not I would not have returned after leaving it previously. It has more to do with my life phase and timing. I wish to spend more time with my family, so I needed to make some changes to my lifestyle," Tan said.
Tan has had two stints with the Ogilvy group totalling eight years, with his first term from 1999 to 2003 with Ogilvy & Mather Advertising followed by his current stint with OgilvyOne from 2004 to present.
