Supply Chain SME (Subject Matter Expert) - Logistic

Role Description:

The Supply Chain subject matter expert (SME) - Logistics position reports to the Logistic Manager, China and the Supply Chain Development Manager – Asia.

The SME will be responsible for implementing, expanding, improving and supporting the logistics processes throughout Asia. The position is responsible for combining business processes and application system functionality into working solutions to meet business requirements.

The SME will initially be responsible for leading the implementation of a Transportation Management System (TMS) in Asia and support the Global Program Manager for the successful implementation of the global TMS.

In view of their worldwide expansion, they are in search of suitably qualified individual to join their dynamic team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in logistics and/or logistics systems.
• Knowledge of logistics processes and best-in-class global TMS & ITLS (International Trade Logistics System) are required. Examples are Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), i2, JDA TMS (formerly Manugistics).
• Familiarity with the interactions/touch points between a TMS and WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus.
• Prior experience managing software implementation projects with strong project management skills.
• Prior experience in footwear and apparel or similar consumer products industry is a plus.
• Prior experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One software is preferred.
• Willing to travel as required. Estimated to be about 50%
