Catcha to be listed
Malaysia - Catcha Publishing confirms plans to go for IPO (initial public offering) in the next 18 to 24 months. The country in which it will list in is yet to be confirmed.
Patrick Grove, Group CEO of Catcha Media Group, said, "The ability to tap into capital markets will significantly strengthen our push to further consolidate our leadership position in the magazine publishing sector, expand regionally, and capitalise on the online media space which is currently experiencing explosive growth, particularly in Asia."
Catcha owns and operates magazines in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia; which reach over 500,000 people in the region every month. Currently, 10 of Catcha Publishing's 18 titles are licensed from international partners and published in Malaysia, five are owned by Catcha and published in Malaysia, and three are owned by Catcha and published by licensees in other market. Titles in its portfolio include Juice, Stuff, Prestige, OK!, evo, FourFourTwo, F1 Racing, Supercars, K-Zone, Tictalk, HomePride and Complete Kitchen + Bathroom Magazine.
Its internet businesses include iProperty.com, which has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Philippines. The network of portals attract over 750,000 unique users every month, has an average of over 100,000 property listings available on its network daily; and is utilised by more than 4,000 real estate agents and 100 developers. The business is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
