Singapore - Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) will soon launch, The Straits Times Razor TV, an interactive web TV service which will deliver "live" studio content and on-demand videos over a real-time interactive platform.

This platform will consolidate its English language digital operations - AsiaOne, Stomp and The Straits Times Razor TV.

Spearheading its latest offering is digital media editor for the English and Malay Newspaper Division Felix Soh. The Straits Times Razor TV will take a sharp and edgy news stance and will be delivered from a newly built web studio in the Multimedia Centre.

"We are keeping pace with the latest online developments and creating an interactive environment across the print, mobile and internet platforms. Soon, an innovation laboratory will be added to the Multimedia Centre so that the latest, cutting-edge ideas can be nurtured and developed. The laboratory will become a showcase of how news will be delivered and consumed in the future," SPH's chairman Tony Tan said.

Last month, Stomp, AsiaOne and straitstimes.com's total pageviews reached 10.5 million, 10.1 million and 8.8 million respectively - corresponding to a growth of 30%, 50% and 35% since the beginning of SPH's financial year in September.
