Hong Kong - Burson-Marsteller (BM) will absorb the managing director role into the agency, when current MD Mary Devereux departs the agency at the end of this month.
Devereux has been with the WPP group for a total of 18 years, 11 of those spent with the Burson-Marsteller.
She is yet to announce her next move.
Simon Pangrazio, president & CEO Burson-Marsteller Asia Pacific, said aspects of Devereux's current role will be allocated to other members of the existing BM team.
"We thank Mary for her outstanding contribution to the firm and give our warmest wishes for the exciting opportunities and new directions she will no doubt take in the future," he said.
Devereux will officially leave the PR agency on 29 February.
