Singapore/Hong Kong - Financial and corporate PR firm Financial Dynamics International (FD) is opening its first Singapore office and has appointed Laurel Teo as vice president, Singapore.
"Singapore is a key centre for any international consultancy which is serious about doing business in Asia, and we see a local presence as a core strategic component of our regional development. We already advise a number of large companies with regional bases in Singapore and are delighted to have found, in Laurel, the ideal candidate to open and build this business for us," Diana Footitt, CEO of Asia, FD, said.
Teo will advise current FD clients in the region such as Standard Bank, RGM International and the Dubai Mercantile Exchange on corporate and financial communications as well as coordinate business development for SE Asia. She will also work closely with FD's regional head office in Hong Kong and its joint headquarters in New York and London.
She was most recently Jakarta correspondent at SPH's The Straits Times and Business Times.
