Singapore - SPH Magazine's Hardware Zone has revamped its Search Engine Marketing (SEM) unit, pushing the focus away from search engine marketing and towards pay per performance tracking - the SEM unit has rebranded to clickTrue.
ClickTrue gives client websites page one visibility on various search engines such as Yahoo!, Google, MSN Live Search, Baidu, and ad placements on social networking sites like Facebook and Friendster, as well as YouTube. As part of the revamp, clicktrue.com.sg launched in February with clients that include Fujitsu, Nokia, Nikon, and HSBC.
According to Hardware Zone product manager for clickTrue, Adrian Tan, the focus is for a more integrated approach to media planning.
"We wanted to stay true to our original mission of providing holistic online marketing services to our clients, while at the same time breaking new ground and pushing the envelope in what we can do," he said.
The SEM arm started in 2006 under Hardware Zone.
