Singapore - Young & Rubicam (Y&R) and Mediaedge:cia (MEC) were appointed creative and media agencies respectively by The Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), for its public awareness campaign on problem gambling.
TV spots formed the first leg of its communications during the Lunar New Year period last week. The integrated campaign, involving creative, publicity, media buying and planning, is worth approximately $3 million.
The initiative was headed by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) to promote better understanding on problem gambling and to highlight the services available to assist problem gamblers as well as their families.
Y&R went up against DDB at the final stages of the tender.
