Hong Kong - Jamie Lord, MindShare marketing & business development director, has resigned from the agency and will relocate back to Australia.

Ashutosh Srivastava (pictured), MindShare Asia Pacific CEO, said the resignation was not unexpected and that the company had been discussing his options in Hong Kong for several months. Lord's last day with MindShare was yesterday.

Srivastava stressed he had not been pushed from the agency and that he was a well respected figure within the company.

"He's done a lot of work with many MindShare offices. He's highly respected around here," he said.

Srivastava confirmed that a replacement will be sought.

Lord joined MindShare in 2004 to support its marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to his role, he launched Millward Brown's first office in China in 1998.

Lord was not contactable at press time.
