Beijing - Cisco Systems' phase two of its human network online campaign has received more than 100 user-generated videos uploaded on its site since it launched just a fortnight ago.
The human network campaign, developed by OgilvyOne Beijing, features an online platform that allows children and adults to exchange and share knowledge across China through online video sharing.
Thomas Lam, VP for Cisco Systems and president of Greater China, said the interactivity of the internet and web 2.0 has allowed the human network to create a public welfare platform that everyone could easily access and contribute their own knowledge.
Cisco kicked off phase one of the human network campaign in 2007 where Cisco staff donated their personal items that were bartered online for books and computer supplies and were donated to the schools and students in remote mountain regions.
The online campaign, which will run until May 2008, include TVCs, billboard, print, radio and advertorial.
