Hong Kong - Starcom Worldwide managing director Mabel Leung is leaving the agency after almost 13 years, with a replacement to be announced in a week's time.
Leung, who has been MD at Starcom Hong Kong for the past six years, said she's leaving to "take sometime off" and will see where her career will take her off next.
Paul Maher, CEO for Starcom Hong Kong, Taiwan and South China, said Leung had done a fantastic job and is highly respected by her clients and colleagues. Her departure is "a big loss for us and the team" he said.
He said the replacement for Leung will be announced in a week's time.
Leung has spent almost 13 years with Starcom Worldwide and rose up the ranks from her role as a media planner to MD for the Hong Kong office in 2002.
She was also the chairperson for the Hong Kong 4A's media and research committee as well as an executive committee member.
