Singapore - Opel has tasked AGI Communications with its marketing communication efforts for 2008 following a four-way pitch for the $1 million account in November 2007.
The account was previously held by Scoop Advertising and will see AGI now handle its branding via through the line advertising for CRM programmes, showroom activities and events.
Opel marketing will target consumers aged 29 years and below and will look to heighten brand awareness amongst entry-level continental makes and change its perceived image of it being an older man's car.
