Ex-Tiger handler now does Chivas

Singapore - Pernod Ricard Singapore has hired former Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore regional account manager, Alfred Goh, as brand manager for the entire Chivas Regal portfolio.

As reported by Marketing, the news comes two months after the departure of Pernod Ricard's brand manager for its whiskey portfolio, Brendan Sheares, who managed brands such as Chivas and The Glenlivet. Brand management responsibilities for The Glenlivet portfolio have now been shifted to brand manager, Alexis Tang, who also handles trade marketing, events and sponsorship duties.

Goh said it was the opportunity to work on a great brand like Chivas which led him to make the switch and he now reports directly to marketing manager Zhang Liya. At Saatchis, Goh worked on the regional Tiger beer account.
